This makes a small batch, 4 or 5 mason jars.
64 ounces Apple Cider
1.5 cups of brown sugar
190 proof Everclear,
1 cinnamon stick per mason jar
Put cider in pot, add brown sugar and cinnamon sticks, bring to boil.
Let cool to below 150 degrees, or room temp would be better.
Fill a mason jar 25% with Everclear then add apple cider mix and 1 cinnamon stick. Put lid on jar and age 24 hours.
It’s now ready to drink.
Just remember you add the Everclear after it has cooled. Otherwise it just evaporates out.
If you want it stronger add more Everclear. It’s always easy to add more alcohol.
Things to experiment with.
More or less sugar, depending on how sweet you want it.
Try adding 2 or 3 Jolly Rancher hard candies of the same flavor. Like watermelon. To get a different taste.
